Earring Tabú was originally founded by John Mutch in 1989. In 2021, the store underwent a rebranding under the new ownership of the Hoffman family. It is now called Tabú Boutique, but the tradition of personally traveling the globe and seeking out eclectic handcrafted jewelry, accessories, clothing and home goods continues. In April 2022, Tabú will expand by opening Tabú Shoes in Chandler Square just steps away from the original Tabú.
By supporting local artists and importing from around the globe, as well as offering brands you know and love like Free People and Steve Madden, we trust that there will be something for everyone to love.
Our small, family-owned and operated business gives back to the community every chance possible and thrives on the relationships that have been built through the years. We love when the grown children and grandchildren of our customers come into the shoppe and share with us their memories of shopping here with their parents and grandparents or when a customer comes in wearing a piece that s/he was gifted decades ago and still cherishes!
These connections make Tabú and its customers special.
